Guillermo García López

Guillermo García López (Madrid, 1985), is a director and producer graduated in Audio Visual Communication from UCM. In 2013 he set up the production company Sintagma Films together with two other associates. He also works as an advertising director between Spain and USA by the name LOÜK. His first short film as a producer, La Gran Desilusión, directed by Pedro González Kühn, was nominated for Best Documentary Short at the Goya Awards 2014. His first full length film as a director, Frágil Equilibrio, won the Goya Award 2017 for Best Feature Documentary, the Doc España Award at its national premiere at Valladolid International Film Festival (SEMINCI) and was internationally premiered at IDFA 2016 (Official Selection).Actually he directs the video art project Montajes cotidianos desde la frontera, in collaboration with a work group from the Architecture School of Madrid.
